Odd Ball Conservatives Say the Darndest Things

Number 5 in a Series

Call me a bleeding heart liberal if  you want, but I am glad those days are over:

If there is one term that sums up the Obama Administration that word is “scandal”.

Everywhere you looked during the Obama years there was a scandal going on.

Anyhow, we are done with that.

WASHINGTON — Scott Pruitt, the head of the Environmental Protection Agency, testified on Capitol Hill on Thursday in what turned out to be a daylong grilling over allegations of ethical infractions and lavish spending.

WASHINGTON — The Environmental Protection Agency violated the law when it installed a soundproof phone booth for the administrator, Scott Pruitt, at a cost of roughly $43,000, a congressional watchdog agency ruled on Monday.

An email that suggests Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Scott Pruitt personally signed off on a controversial pay raise for a favored aide last month is roiling the agency.

A Lobbyist Helped Scott Pruitt Plan a Morocco Trip. Then Morocco Hired the Lobbyist.

(CNN) – Special counsel Robert Mueller’s team questioned a Russian oligarch about payments to President Donald Trump’s personal attorney, Michael Cohen.

Special counsel Robert Mueller on Tuesday requested that sentencing for former Trump national security adviser Michael Flynn be delayed by at least two months.

From 2007 until March 2012, Vekselberg was a shareholder and chairman of the board of Rusal, the aluminum company controlled by Oleg Deripaska. Deripaska has business ties to former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort, who has been indicted on fraud and tax related charges as part of Mueller’s investigation. Manafort has pleaded not guilty. Deripaska, who also was added to the US sanctions list last month, has sued Manafort over a soured investment deal.

As former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort arrives at a federal courthouse later today for a hearing to dismiss his case, as well as to suppress evidence seized by federal agents, one thing will not change — the ankle bracelet he has been wearing since he was indicted in late October as part of a strict, court-imposed home confinement.

White House counselor Kellyanne Conway violated the Hatch Act on two occasions, the Office of Special Counsel (OSC) informed the Trump administration Tuesday.

Kellyanne Conway, President Trump‘s senior adviser, promoted Ivanka Trump’s line of clothing and accessories during an appearance on “Fox & Friends” early Thursday, imploring viewers to “go buy Ivanka’s stuff.”

WASHINGTON — Tom Price, the health and human services secretary, resigned under pressure on Friday after racking up at least $400,000 in travel bills for chartered flights and undermining President Trump’s promise to drain the swamp of a corrupt and entitled capital.

The President said ‘the hookers thing’ is nonsense but that Putin had told him “we have some of the most beautiful hookers in the world.” He did not say when Putin had told him this and I don’t recall [REDACTED].

The White House was facing criticism Thursday for a possible security breach after it allowed a Russian news service photographer into the Oval Office to snap photos of President Donald Trump and a pair of top Russian officials.

Yeah, I’m glad we don’t have to put up with that stuff anymore.
