The NRA stands up for citizens demanding the right to carry handguns for personal protection. Regarding the Second Amendment, apparently some assembly is required:
Deputies: Palm Harbor man accidentally shoots himself in bathroom at AMC theater in Oldsmar
OLDSMAR –– A 26-year old man accidentally shot himself Friday in a bathroom stall at the AMC Woodlands Square 20 in Oldsmar, the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office said.
Deputies said Nathan A. Schrage of Palm Harbor removed his gun from a concealed holster and placed it on the toilet paper dispenser at the theater on Tampa Road. When Schrage attempted to place the gun back in the holster shortly before 2 p.m., the firearm accidentally discharged a bullet and injured his hand, deputies said.
Schrage has a valid concealed-carry permit, deputies said. No other movie patrons were inside the bathroom during the shooting, deputies said. Schrage was transported to Tampa General Hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
A movie theater is definitely the place where you will need a handgun for your personal protection. You never know when the person sitting next to you will be carrying some concealed popcorn.
