The Second Amendment protects your right to keep firearms in your home. Some have made great sacrifices protecting that right:
CORBIN, Ky. (LEX 18) – Deputies say a woman was shot five times by her boyfriend while their son slept in the next room.
Deputies say that Michael Johnson became involved in an altercation and backed his girlfriend into a corner of the bedroom. As the situation escalated, officials say Johnson shot his girlfriend five times.
The victim, Alexis, managed to pick up a metal baseball bat and began hitting her alleged assailant.
The couple’s 5-year-old son was asleep in the bedroom next door. The victim was airlifted to University of Kentucky Hospital. Laurel County Deputies think she is going to survive her wounds.
Y’all be careful out there. And keep your powder dry.
