Actually, that’s my hat, but I needed a picture of a hat, and mine was handy.
When I first visited (figuratively speaking) Ted Nugent over two years ago, it was in relation to now Texas Governor Greg Abbott. See the link above:
What would the Democrats do without Ted Nugent? You don’t want to even consider the possibility.
Nugent is now beyond that. Here’s something from the Talking Points Memo feed:
A meme shared Sunday on Nugent’s Facebook page alleges that Jewish leaders, including Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY), Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) and former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, are behind a concerted effort to confiscate Americans’ guns. The meme showed a small Israeli flag stamped on each individual’s face below the title: “So who is really behind gun control?”
Of course, we don’t really know for a fact that Nugent believes this stuff. All we have for evidence is an item from Talking Points Memo. And this screen shot from Nugent’s Facebook account:
Wow! Maybe the Jews really are behind the gun control conspiracy in America. I mean, has Ted Nugent ever been wrong before?
On April 17, 2012, in a Romney stump speech at the 2012 NRA Convention in St. Louis, Nugent said, “If Barack Obama becomes the president in November, again, I will either be dead or in jail by this time next year.”
All right, let’s not count that time. The truth be said, four years ago who could have guessed that President Obama would be re-elected? That is, who else besides a few million Democratic voters? Besides, who knew but what Ted Nugent wouldn’t actually be dead or in jail within a year? What’s he supposed to be, some kind of a fortune teller?
Even so, Nugent must be spot on with his remarks about Jews and guns. Who would make a statement like that if it weren’t true? After all, isn’t he looking out for gun owners of America? Possibly not all:
Gun owners are pressuring the National Rifle Association to boot longtime board member Ted Nugent from the organization’s leadership ranks after the rock star’s social media outburst that depicted prominent American Jews as the men and women “really behind gun control.”
Maybe these are just Jewish gun owners. But The Washington Post item by Lindsey Bever continues:
On Wednesday, Nugent pointed out that Jews for the Preservation of Firearms Ownership recently criticized him for this week’s controversial comments.
“How tragic that the self inflicted scourge of political correctness can blind so many otherwise intelligent people!” he wrote on Facebook.
But Bob Owens, editor for BearingArms.com, wrote online this week that Nugent should have realized he “stepped in it” when “even-tempered pro-gun folks took issue” with his Facebook posts.
Instead, Nugent rehashed his point in another post — comparing Jewish gun-control advocates to Nazis.
“What sort of racist prejudiced POS could possibly not know that Jews for gun control are Nazis in disguise?” Nugent wrote.
I see a new number being featured by the Amboy Dukes. The title might be Empty Hat Blues.
There’s got to be more of this to come. Keep reading.
